Deena Zimmerman

Personal Trainer & Class Instructor

With over 25 years of personal practice, regular and continuous class time and training, Deena decided to pursue her passion for fitness through exercise and healthy living by going back to school and earning a Diploma in Personal Training from the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI).

 

At NPTI, Deena was introduced to CrossFit and fell in love with it! The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance and to optimize physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains: Cardiovascular & Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. Deena continues her CrossFit training at CrossFit Mass in Lawrence. When she designed the BODY-FIT program, she combined her deep understanding of human anatomy and  biomechanics with her practical experience. She then applied this combination with her life experiences to create her unique approach to fitness.

 

Deena's goal is to inspire and empower her clients to honor and celebrate their bodies. Whether she is training an individual or teaching a group class, she always emphasize proper form. Her goal is to share her knowledge with all of her clients so that they are able to improve their own bodies. Deena is dedicated to teaching women and men of all fitness levels in a manner that promotes health, fitness and overall well being in a supportive, motivative and FUN enviroment.

Shannon Lovejoy

Personal Trainer & Class Instructor

Shannon has been a Personal Trainer since 2009. Having been in the United States Navy for 5 years and owning her own business for over 7 years while raising her family, Shannon understands the importance of having a healthy, strong body. She became a Fitness Specialist as a result of her passion to empower people to exercise and be physically fit. 

 

Shannon has her certification in Senior Fitness. She especially enjoys working with seniors using strength training along with balance, coordination and agility to reach new levels of fitness.

 

Shannon's goal is to transfer knowledge to help women of all ages gain control over AND feel good about their own bodies, leading to a lifelong venture into health and fitness.
